We sell new OTR, truck, trailer, and forklift tires. We cap OTR up to 26.5 down to forklift tires and everything in between with our own Premium Rubber brand rubber. We also repair commercial tires, provide credit and purchase tire casings, sell, recap, and service OTR, solid and foam filled tires. Our mobile service provides 24/7 emergency breakdown and fleet services to Idaho, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Nevada.
Biography |Greg
Greg, a proud alum of Michigan State University, has an extensive background in logistics: forecasting, inventory management, production planning, warehousing, transportation, and customer service. From 1984 to 2002, Greg worked at Nabisco, Nestle, and Simplot. The experience that he gained working at these powerhouse companies inspired him to spread his own wings as an entrepreneur.
From 2002 through 2007, Greg attempted to start several businesses. His final break came in 2007 with Gem State Logistics, a multi-modal transportation brokerage.
By 2011, Greg started LOGO Carriers, an interstate trucking company servicing intermodal, heavy haul reefer and dry vans. To present day, LOGO Carriers has expanded to 25 trucks that can be found across CA, OR, ID, UT, & WA.
Spartan Tire LLC was started in Nampa in 2014 to service and sell full-line commercial and passenger tires, including retreads, to the Idaho markets.
Greg started Idaho Retread Company in 2015 with his cousins in Nampa, Idaho. His cousins had already been in the commercial tire retreading business for 12 years in Gilroy, California with TOPA Tire and Long Beach Tire. Idaho Retread Company combined their engineering and manufacturing knowledge with Greg’s transportation experience and market knowledge to put out high quality recap tires to construction, commercial truck and trailer, & forklift customers. They currently serve OR, WA, ID, & UT.
By 2017, sales and service offerings expanded to both Utah and Washington with the partnerships between Spartan Tire Salt Lake City & Spartan Tire Pasco.
Greg hopes to continue to expand Spartan Tire retail & service partnership concepts throughout WA, OR, UT, ID, NV, & CO.
